The week that was

1. Steamed vegetables and smoked salmon on couscous
2. Baked beans and cherry tomatoes with wholemeal toast
3. Pasta with ham and steamed vegetables
4. Watermelon

No recipes this week - just simple food in this household.

My highlight: Paula Deen mini burgers baked in puff pastry. Sooo good when I was surrounded by sweets.

put me down for that salmon! wait. i'll take the pasta and watermelon, too.

hmmm. the best food i had this week was probably the artichoke and cheese quiche appetizer i had today. to-die-for. rather unhealthy, but WHO CARES. :)

and thank you for always being so supportive and such a good friend. i appreciate your comment. hopefully things will be ok and i can stop stressing already and get back to my typical obnoxious blog posts. that would be lovely. :)

I love couscous! Looks like simple but yummy food. My highlight was a delicious South Indian vegetable curry. I loves me some spices!

Yum! You know, I've never made couscous and I've always wanted to. I really must put that on the mental 'to do' list. All that food looks yummo! Especially watermelon. I was craving some this week but it seems so expensive at the moment so I'm holding out to make it extra special.

My highlight was stuffed capcicums I made :)

That is totally what I need right now. Light, simple food. All the heavy fare for the holiday weekend has me bogged down!
